The commencement exercise still goes as planned. It will be held in the quad area between the buildings at 9:00AM.
We are asking all graduating students to report to the Gym by 8:00AM for instruction and to lineup for the commencement exercises.
Additionally, we suggest everyone to inform their family and/or their guests attending commencement to perhaps wear clothing that is subtle to current weather condition. As we have had considerable rain within the last few days. We suggest wearing foot wear that suitable for damp/wet areas. A light jackets or sweater maybe appropriate for everyone to wear while attending the commencement exercises for Saturday as the morning maybe cooler than normal.
We want everyone to enjoy this wonderful occasion and feel comfortable while attending.
We are continuing to watch all available venues for the forecast to keep everyone informed.
If there should be any new developments on the weather condition, we will notify everyone via this venue and all available media outlets.

Addition Details for Commencement Spring 2012 :
- Family and friends are invited to attend a reception held the Student Union after the ceremony
- There will be a photographer onsite at the Student Union after the ceremony .
- The official latin honor list will not avaialble until Saturday Morning for purchasing of an honor stole.
- The bookstore will be open one hour before the ceremony for special purchases
- A Spanish Convocation will be held honoring graduates (all are invited to attend) after the commencement ceremony ( apprx 11: 30 AM) in the Mutl-purpose Room located on the second floor
- If there are issues with diplomas or issues with grades please visit the Registrar Office after the ceremony ( we will be open for a short time after the ceremony)
- If you are have decided not to walk during the ceremony you may pick up your diploma after the ceremony or on Monday May 14, 2012
- Should inclement weather arise will make every effort to notify everyone in time.
