Graduation Information

SUMMER 2010

LAST DAY TO APPLY TO  GRADUATE FOR SUMMER-  JULY 6, 2010

GRADES FOR ALL GRADUATING STUDENTS DUE - AUGUST 5, 2010

Graduation Ceremony -  Friday,  August 6, 2010   7:00 PM  in the Gym ( Tentatively)

 

Important Information for Students

All students should be aware of all deadlines that pertain to the graduation process. 

Please make sure to contact your academic advisor about your advising file and make sure that it have been submitted to the Office of the Registrar for final processing before graduation (This should be complete in the early part of the semester you are graduating)

If you have completed all required courses and are not enrolling during the semester of graduation  you must register for  in-absentia status. To process this you may stop by the Office of the Registrar and submit this request.

Only students that have applied to graduate will receive information about the commencement ceremony and any other graduation information. Please make sure that you complete you graduation application by the posted deadline of the semester that you are graduating

 

Latin Honors (UNDERGRADUATES ONLY)

Student must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50, must have completed a minimum of 48 credit hours at UT Permian Basin and must be receiving their first bachelor's degree.

All honor candidates will be signified by the Honor Stole which may be purchased at the University Bookstore.

The final Latin Honors list will not be completed until all grades have been turned in for all undergraduates graduating.  (please check University calendar for specific dates)
