Fall 2008 Graduation Candidate Information

 

Last day for student to apply to graduate for Fall 2008

 

  October 3   

 Jostens will be taking orders for Graduation Regalia 

 at the UT Bookstore  from 9:00AM to 5:30 PM both days

  October 21& 22

 

 Grades for Graduation Candidate due

  December 11
Semester ends  December 12
Commencement ( no details please check for updates)  December 13

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Important Information for Students


Applicants for Graduation need to check on advising file completion and submission of their advising file to Registrar's Office.

Students planning to graduate in current semester but not enrolled must enroll as In absentia student. 

Student will be notified in writing of all information concerning the Commencement Ceremony after the all from students graduating is received.

Latin Honors (UNDERGRADUATES ONLY)

Student must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50, must have completed a minimum of 48 credit hours at UT Permian Basin and must be receiving their first bachelor's degree.

All honor candidates will be signified by the Honor Stole which may be purchased at the University Bookstore.

The final Latin Honors list will not be completed until all grades have been turned in for all undergraduates graduating.

Steps to applying to Graduate:

Undergraduate Applicants

             Students who are planning to graduate must apply during the semester they plan to graduate.


Graduation packet for undergraduate students planning to graduate during the semester may be picked up in the Office of Registrar.

After completing the packet and meeting with academic advisor to review their record the student must pay for their application for Diploma order in the Office of Accounting.

A copy stamped paid must returned to the Office of the Registrar in order to complete the process and students will also need to turn in their survey included in the packet at that time.


Graduate Applicants
              Graduates students applying to graduate will only need to pick up an application for graduating and pay

              for it   in  the Office of Accounting and return copy stamped paid to the Office of the Registrar.
